City #6, October 2013. In Madrid it only rains a week per year – the week that I visited.  A great week nevertheless, with good interviews set up with the help of local friends. With time to see the fantastic museums (I loved the Thyssen-Bornemisza ) and a visit to the city’s best theatre, Estadio Bernabéu, to watch Real Madrid. Madrid, the third largest city of the EU (after London and Berlin), is grand, the monumental centre of the country (and of the global  empire it once was.)

Type of Youropeans? Most of them have strong opinions, and they are generally positive about Europe.
